Nature awakens, the sun feels brighter, and the remaining icy streams mingle with meltwater and the first hints of warmth.
This piece is an ode to spring’s awakening, expressed through intricate textured surfaces and multilayered glaze effects. Its unique texture explores the subtleties of material and temperature interactions, striving to capture the fleeting spirit of spring and translate it onto a ceramic surface.

OKSANA PANFILOVA
I came to ceramics from interior design. Over seven years of creative work, I made it to the shortlist of the «Invented and Made in Russia» competition and took part in several major exhibitions, including COSMOSCOW.
Ceramics had been calling me for a long time: I wanted to create large vases in the style of raw, living ceramics — the kind you see in magazines! For me, clay is fascinating in its naturalness and its outward simplicity. It never tries to pretend — and that is its beauty.
At the same time, clay has its own voice and will; it can reveal character. Because of this, clay invites invention, pushes you to experiment, and always gives that trembling sense of hope for creating a true work of art. Exploring and working with the material’s nature — that is what I love most about ceramics.
